Our Basic Tenets

Or maybe, more precisely, ‘things to keep in mind whilst you’re here’

1) There will be no ‘spoiler alerts’.  The way we see it, if you want a simple opinion on a movie, show or recording from one of our reviews, just scan to the bottom of the entry and read the rating.  If you want an opinion on the experience, expect to be told some things.  Pretty simple, really.

2) These are our unfettered opinions.  Have your own, if you like.  While comments are certainly welcome and encouraged, we are all quite busy with families, and jobs, and watching and listening to things, so don’t expect a debate on anything.  We like you, we really do, so much so that we’re completely comfortable with any possible opposing viewpoint you may harbor, wrong as it may be.  Respect.  That’s what we’re all up on top of in this place.

3) Your time is important, so is your money.  In the end, we’re here to point out a few things that we think are just dandy in this world and, maybe more emphatically, throw the things that aren’t into the harsh light of day where they may burn up and blow away.  All so that you have better information to choose from, and can use both your time and money wisely.  See, deep down, we care.

4) This isn’t a blog about quick hit-and-runs.  Don’t expect much that is Twitter formatted, we’re all too long-winded.  We actually aim to spend some time thinking about the many things we’re opining about, and to then proffer those thoughts upon you with a level of entertainment (read: sarcasm and snarky-snark) AND information that keeps you involved.  Consider these more like magazine articles, because that’s the direction we’ve chosen to head.

That’s about it.  Thanks for checking us out, and we hope you visit early and often and tell your friends and grandmothers all about this fun little word repository.  Especially if your grandmother is fond of sentences using the word ‘doucheface’.

can you make this more louder?

two hat tips to you… both local to somewhere…
your local: Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons
    my local: The Twilight Hours.

Both are in danger of being too good for their own good.
